Do not take life for granted! Everything about ourselves we just expect to be that way. Having two legs, two arms. Just the air we breathe. We don't ever really stop to think of what it would be like without these things, because we really don't have to. Take each day as a gift and be greatful for all that you are and all that you have because somewhere there is someone who is not so lucky.
This entire week commit to only drinking water. Cut out the soda, juice, tea. Just for one week water only. Six to eight glasses per day. See how great you feel at the end of the week and maybe this can be a lifestyle change for you. Good luck! I know you can do it! Focus on the goal!
Smile often! Smile at someone when they least expect it. In the store, while driving in your car. But most important use your kindness in difficult situations. When someone is rude to you smile at them, be the bigger person. Just smile and walk away!
Alot is to be said for the parents of children whom are suffering from an illness or a disease. The trip to Boston was a very heartbreaking experience. There were children there suffering from all sorts of different things. From one extreme to the next. Some of them on there fifth or sixth surgery. I am writing this today because I want to spread the message that we all should appreciate just how special and important life is. I never in my life imagined that I would be going through multiple treatments and surgery with my daughter. I have such a great appreciation for life. Please don't sweat the small things in life. Be greatful for the days you have here, and please remember that all over the world people are suffering from so many different things. Keep your head up! Please enjoy life and all that it has to offer.
1) During the commercials of your favorite show do toning exercises. Do ab exercises, lunges, push ups, and exercises for your buns.
2) Take a walk with your children, make a game of it and every so often during your walk say ready, set, go! Run to a stop sign ahead or a destination of your choice.
3) Take a new group exercise class that you have never tried before. Invite a friend to go with you. Do not feel silly if you don't know the moves. Remember that you have to learn them before you can be perfect. Who knows you may find something you love.
4) Try to surround yourself with positive people. It is so hard to be positive if you are always in the company of a negative person. You know the person I mean, nothing ever seems to make them happy and they are very pesimistic about life. After awile that kind of attitude can rub off on you. So do your best to help them in being positive, but make sure you are taking the correct steps in making yourself positive. Sometimes that means not sharing the company of such negative people, instead of lifting you up they will drag you down.
5) Next time you are at the grocery store help an elderly person or perhaps a parent (mother or father) put there groceries in their car. It will surprise the heck out of them, and in return you will feel great when you see that smile on there face. Doing things for others always make you feel wonderful, so do it often!
